Made up of traveling families—whether that be long term travelers or vacationers—we here at Family Vacation Plans know what it is like to want to travel with the kids…. but still to feel overwhelemed!
We’ve been where you are—and still are right there with you—when it comes to figuring out the best places to visit, narrow down what to pack (and how to carry it all), and how to make it through those times when tantrums cause all your plans to seemingly come crashing down.
We believe travel doesn’t have to be fancy, far-reaching, or expensive.
And we are excited to help find fun ways for your family to make the most out of your vacation time together as well!
Our Founder
Family Vacation Plans was started by Mary Ware, a family and lifestyle blogger, teacher and mom to two who has traveled and lived throughout the world to some pretty amazing places, and is eager to take her two kids along for the journey as well.
Mary got her B.A. in International Affairs: Global Public Health from The George Washington University, has a Master’s in Special Adaptive Physical Education, and has worked and lived in Switzerland and Thailand.
She currently resides on the East Coast in the U.S.A. and loves exploring places near and far with her family in tow.
